Bird Hunts

At Dakota Whitetail Guide Service we offer a wonderful Bird hunt experience in the Sheyenne River Bottom. We set up in the fields before daylight and supply all the decoys and layout blinds. If the weather is to wet to use trucks we have three 4x4 Arctic Cats to get us in the field and set up.

Early season limit is 5 birds with 10 in your possession limit. Regular season the limit is 3 daily and 6 possession limit. The limit on Ducks is 5 per day and 10 in possession. One wing or the head must be attached to the processed bird for identification. You may bring your own dogs on any bird hunt.

You may purchase a North Dakota hunting license by phone any time before your scheduled hunt by calling 1-800-406-6409 24 hours a day with your credit card. You may also obtain a hunting license by visiting the online ND Game and Fish Department and fill out the form.

The following information will be requested to obtain a license: Social security number, address, height, weight, eye and hair color, and Hunter Identification Number if born after 1961.
